If anyone can run people away from Islam, it is Muslims. Some of the Muslims I know in real life and on this site provide such a skewed view of the religion. They are so harsh and constantly cursing other Muslims and people in general. They hate for someone to disagree with them and shun that person to no end. It’s such a ridiculous thing to see and not only does it piss me off, it saddens me.

“It was by the mercy of Allah that you were gentle with them (O, Mohammad) for if you had been harsh and hard of heart they would of dispersed from around you. So pardon them and pray forgiveness for them and consult with them in the affair” (Quran 3:159).

Through gentleness, honesty and compassion Prophet Muhammad changed the lives and hearts of some of the most stubborn people, but you expect to call people to Islam or speak about Islam while uttering curses and harsh attacks against fellow Muslims?
